Certification, and Insurance
Candidates successfully completing a course to the required standard
will receive Helen McGuinness Health & Beauty Training International Certification, which is recognised by a number of professional Associations such
as The Guild of Professional Beauty
Therapists, Salon Gold and Professional Beauty
Direct for insuring purposes. Please however always check with your
own individual insuring companies for their requirements prior to
undertaking any training course as we are unable to advise on all
insuring companies specific requirements.
NVQ
(National Vocational Qualification) and VRQ (Vocationally Related
Qualification)
We Have been accredited to
offer Nationally recognised NVQ and VRQ qualifications through VTCT
(Vocational Training Charitable Trust -
www.VTCT.org.uk ) for 20 years and where available and indicated on
this site, students can optionally study to achieve the relevant NVQ or
VRQ in the subject they are studying.
Candidates wishing to achieve a VTCT / NVQ qualification may do
so by paying an additional fee for registration and assessment (please
see additional costs below), completing the necessary course work away
from the Centre and returning for an assessment. Detailed information
and costs relating to NVQ and VRQ assessments are provided upon request.

or VRQ Awards
£16.00 one – off Awarding Body Registration Fee (if you do not already
have a VTCT registration number)
For all
qualifications, assessment fees will range between £85 to £495
depending on the qualifications being undertaken and the assessment
requirements for the qualification.

qualification/s you wish to undertake.
General Information

All courses include use of centre resources whilst you are at the
centre, unless otherwise stated. Students studying qualifications that
require home practical work to be completed will need to purchase
kits relevant for the home practical work.

If
travelling from a distance, local accommodation information can be
sent to you upon request.

All courses include a course manual and library use of Training DVD’s
where published.
(Please note that DVD’s are not included in the price of 1 day
courses such as Advanced Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone
Massage etc but may be purchased on the course
day at the specially discounted price of £15.00 (r.r.p. £18.99).

Attendees should wear comfortable professional workwear with sensible
enclosed shoes

Please bring packed lunch and bottled water (shops close at hand if
you need to buy lunch on the day)

Course attendees should aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to course
start times as courses will commence promptly at the schedules start
time.
